Beyond the Transaction: What Real Estate Means to Me
Share page

Real estate has never been just about property lines or closing documents. For me, it has always been about something far more fundamental: creating security, establishing roots, and honoring family.

Long before I ever guided a client through a contract, my understanding of real estate was forged through my own life transitions.

My journey with homeownership began in 2007 when I bought my first home in Massachusetts. I didn’t do it alone—I was able to take that pivotal step thanks to the unwavering support of my parents. Experiencing firsthand what it felt like to hold the keys to my own piece of property, and understanding the financial and emotional commitment behind it, left a lasting mark on me. It taught me the immense value of having a place to truly call your own.

Life eventually brought me west to Northern New Mexico. In 2010, I bought my home in Aldea. Moving to Santa Fe wasn't just a change of zip code; it was choosing a community, a culture, and a landscape that instantly felt like home. Navigating that relocation deepened my appreciation for what makes Santa Fe real estate so unique—from its distinct Pueblo Revival and Territorial architecture to the quiet rhythm of high-desert living.

One of the most meaningful milestones of my life came in 2015, when I helped move my parents out west and bought a home for them in Albuquerque. Being able to return the support they gave me years earlier—ensuring they were comfortable, settled, and close by—solidified what real estate truly represents to me. It isn't just an asset class; it’s a vehicle for taking care of the people who matter most.

With a background rooted in complex problem-solving, high-consequence systems analysis, and detailed technical work, I’ve spent my career evaluating data, assessing risk, and executing complex plans with precision.

Deciding to become a licensed Realtor was the natural intersection of that analytical background and my personal passion for housing. Buying or selling a home is one of the most significant financial and personal decisions a family will ever make. You deserve an advisor who brings both rigorous technical diligence and genuine human empathy to the table.

Whether you're relocating to Northern New Mexico for work, settling down for retirement, or finding a home for your extended family, I don't just see a deal—I see your journey. Because I’ve walked that exact path myself.
